We have used local natural materials to furnish the apartment and the terrace, tried to bring in some tradition but keep it clean and simple at the same time. All the wooden elements including the beds and terrace we built ourselves. The books with local fairytales and legends are prepared for those who wish to explore our tradition a bit more and get the feel for our little town in the heart of the Julian Alps. Your small private garden is offering seasonal fruits and vegetables such as raspberries, apples, tomatoes, currant, zucchini...bringing you even closer to nature. The entrance, the garden and the terrace are totally separated from the living unit, so you can enjoy your private time on vacation. Nature nook apartment has an amazing location in the center of Bled. It is located within minutes of walk to the lake, info points, restaurants, bus station. The location is quiet, secluded with a private garden and terrace, bicycle route, fields and forest just across the street. It is great for nature lovers who wish to be close to all the happenings, but have their own private spot in nature.

The best way to describe our family is by using the word mountain nomads. Rok and I (Petra) are both alpinists, climbers, base jumpers, skiers and snowboarders who love to explore hidden corners of the globe, different cultures and traditions. All the traveling made us realized even more what an amazing place we have here in the heart of the Julian Alps and we are happy to share its hidden corners with you! We also own a mountain guiding company called Vertical Adventures Slovenia where in the winter we specialize in freeskiing, snowboarding, ski touring, splitboarding and avalanche safety courses for beginners and specialists. Our location enables us to chase the best snow at the time because we have the Julian Alps almost as our backyard and the mountain ranges of Italy and Austria just an hour drive away. The summertime is reserved for climbing, via ferratas, trekking and summiting our highest mountain Triglav. We organize commercial expeditions all around the globe, but our favorite place is still in Slovenia and the Julian Alps. We we will be happy to give you some great tips for exploring the area!

Our neighborhood is located in the heart of Bled, with great access to nature, fields and forests that start just across the street. It is a quiet location from where you can see both Karavanke range and Julian Alps with Mount Triglav. It is a safe location within 3min walk to the Triglav National Park headquarters, supermarket, bars and restaurants. The lake and outdoor evening events are 5minutes walk away but far enough not to disturb you if you wish to have some quiet time at your accommodation. The bus station is 2min walk from the apartment, in the winter you can catch ski buses taking you to Vogel (our favourite), Krvavec or Kranjska Gora resort. You can hop on a bus to make a day trip to Bohinj, Ljubljana or Postojna cave, visit Pokljuka plateau or simply enjoy exploring Bled and surroundings on foot or by bike.
