The house, as it looks today, was built in a rural Art Nouveau style in 1929 on a basis of an even older house. In the past, there used to be the seat of a wood trading company and for a while even a village inn and a toll house. Today, the house serves also as an art gallery. Sometimes we host art events, such as exhibition openings. Recent renovation works started in 2022 and might be going on during your stay. We have little kids, so you can expect some noise in the mornings. You are welcome to use other spaces in the house and outside: kitchen, living room in the basement, bathroom, garden. These spaces are used also by the family and other guests.
Hi! We are a family in a historical house, which we renovate and bring to life. We are offering an authentic experience, very different from common touristic accommodations. Our place is most appreciated by people, who wish to escape from busy modern life, who value cultural heritage and natural surroundings, but with all comfort, needed for modern living. Welcome!
The place is located next to river Sava (which you can access), with beautiful natural surroundings, perfect for hikers, bikers and fishermen, 1 km from Radovljica and 7 km from Bled. Outside the house is a large garden, where you can sit and relax or enjoy your breakfast or dinner in the garden pavilion. Throughout your stay, someone will be available for advice regarding the place and the surroundings. We are also happy to help you with planning the rest of the trip in Slovenia.
