Charming, unspoilt and steeped in history, the old fishing town of Kalkan is a knockout. You’ll find your low-slung villa is a ten-minute drive from the centre, tucked inside the hillside, overlooking the glittering Lycian coast. When you’re not sunning yourself on the shores of Kalkan Beach, you’ll be dipping in and out of your private infinity pool, napping on a lounger or setting the alfresco dining table in preparation for a tasty Turkish feast. Inside, washes of white paint and polished marble floors keep the living space breezy and bright feature walls in the bedrooms ensure you start the day with a pep in your step. Put the final touches to your itinerary at the breakfast bar then grab your sun hat and explore your surroundings. If you’re keen to expend some energy, Saklikent National Park is a forty-three-minute drive away but if you’d prefer to stay put, the Jacuzzi tub in the main bedroom is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset.
