We are located as close to the beach as you can imagine and your balcony is not only facing the beach but also the reef with it’s colorful fishes. You can rent snorkelling gears and explore our „front garden“.
Bring your fishing rod if you like and catch your own dinner.
The tree in front of the house is home to countless birds and other creatures, even an Iguagan-family makes it’s appearnce if you are lucky.
It’s as close to nature as you can get. Enjoy!
Alibaba‘s Seabreeze is a family business. Stephanie is originally from Germany and used to work in the Tourism Industry. Brian „Alibaba“ Taylor is born and bread in Castara, knows his way around and also offers tours of the island and sea. Makaya is our son who loves to swim and snorkel on our beach and reef. Together, with the help of a local housekeeping team we try to make your holiday perfect. We live upstairs and are always ready to answer your questions and be of assistance. Welcome to Paradise!
Castara is a working fishing village. You can watch the fishermen at work every day. Everything in the village is within walking distance, little shops for groceries, traditional clay ovens that bake 3 times a week and the fishermen co-op where the catch of the day is sold.
You feel like part of the community and acastarians are always ready for a chat and a cold beer on the beach.
Castara has a beautiful little waterfall 10 to 15 minutes up the river with a pool to swim in. Always worth a visit on a hot day.
Since Castara is located in the middle of the north coast you can reach every end of the island with an hour with a rental car, taxi or if you are more adventurous the public bus. We organise tours for you to the Rainforest and for snorkelling on the boat. Tell us what you are interested in and we make sure you are not missing out on anything!
