Chole Mjini is located on Chole Island, a tiny island in the middle of the Mafia Island Marine Park, one of our boats ride away from Utende. It is the safest place you will ever be. It is surrounded by extraordinary nature, root-entwined ruins, birds song, mangrove forest, giant Baobabs, fruit bats, stars and fire flies. There are no shopping malls, designer outlets or other restaurants. It's a place to come back to your senses, to see, smell, hear and feel nature, to eat fresh, healthy food and play in the great outdoors, whether it is hiking to see turtles hatch or have a breakfast on a sand bank, paddle board through mangrove creeks, snorkel of SCUBA or just chill in your tree house, watching the birds fly by or the sun rising or setting on the ocean.
