2 hours drive from Lushoto Town, nested on a spectacular cliff, at 1841 m altitude, Uvi House & Restaurant offers a comfy, reasonably priced rooms with en-suite bathrooms and an incredible view of the mountains and the Masai step. It’s an eco friendly, socially involved business concept with the main goal of improving the local employment opportunities while giving the visitors a taste of an authentic, cultural immersion in the Usambara mountains. Our hearty breakfasts are served outdoors. We offer a simple, homemade and seasonal menu. Local drinks and cultural activities in the stunning Cloud Forest and Usambara villages. Uvi House provides a variety of accommodation suitable to every need and budget. From camping to a superior comfort cottage, shared bedrooms for backpackers and volunteers as well as economy cottages. Travelling with family, kids, friends or solo – at Uvi you will find a home away from home. We are also very pet friendly, you are welcome with your own furry friend or to pet one of our 6 adopted and very positive pups.
