We provide an opportunity to stay in the Upstair Apt of the Oldest House in all of Seattle, 1858 ish. The house was moved one block from the beach in 1905 and we have Completely restored it in 2018. About 441 feet to the Alki Beach Park and a street lined with excellent restaurants. Easy access to the Seattle Water Taxi via a FREE bus to get to Downtown Seattle Waterfront activities and sporting venues. We also have a new Cottage in the backyard that is 2 stories, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
We enjoy meeting guests and helping them with their visit to Seattle and surrounding area.
Alki Beach in West Seattle is where in 1851, the Westward bound settlers arrived. Doc Maynard and Catherine were instrumental in helping Seattle to grow and Doc Maynard was friends with Chief Seattle who likely walked in this house.
