Sleep in a cozy Artist's Library within walking distance to elegant restaurants, shopping at Tootsies, and Whole Foods. The patio Home is across the street from River Oaks and close to the Medical Center. Back entrance with private pool, fountain, and patio; suitable for adults. A large antique desk, fireplace, oriental rugs, Roku TV make this the perfect place for a long getaway. The bed is a queen-size Murphy bed. An extra twin blow-up bed can be provided. Weekly Maid Service included.
I am a professional artist and have my painting studio on the 3rd floor of the house. I would love to show you my studio when you stay with me in the Art Library. The Hostess is a professional artist and teaches painting lessons in oil painting to adults 4 days a week during the school year.
This neighborhood is also known for its antique shops which are some of the best in the city. This is one of the few neighborhoods in Houston where you can leave your car at home and take public transportation. The bus stop at the corner connects to the rail system for the Medical Center, the Art Museums, the Zoo, Herman Park and Reliant Stadium in one direction and Downtown, Wortham Center, the Hobby Center and Minutemaid Park in the other direction. The same Westheimer bus goes to the Galleria to the West. Also many shops and restaurants are within walking distance along with Wholefoods.
