I love travel, recipes, identifying birds, and living near the water. We like to share our leisure lifestyle with those seeking an alternative to a mundane hotel stay. I like sharing our local history and am happy to make recommendations based on your interest. We have a variety of Gulf Coast seafood restaurants that are a must-visit. We've been tagged the '3rd Coast' due to the concentration of boats and marinas, weighing in after the East and West coast, of course. Marine activity and water sports are year-round in our mild, sub-tropical climate. There is something for everyone to see and experience here, regardless of age, which makes our community vibrant.

And, our new contactless check-in stress free. Although breakfast is no longer available (and the kitchen is off-limits), we are happy to make recommendations for nearby eateries.

Our cottage is from a by-gone era when lakeside homes dotted the shores of Clear Lake. Over time, our neighbors evolved into elite townhomes, restaurants, and bars. Our graceful, but not assuming home continues to stand the test of time being transformed into Beacon Hill Bed and Breakfast to welcome holiday guests. You can experience the charm our ancestors relished living the life of leisure by the water, in the presence of tall shade trees. We are located between Houston and Galveston and only 2 miles from two of Texas' top attractions: Space Center Houston and Kemah Boardwalk. Restaurants, pubs, malls, liquor stores, pharmacies, beaches, fishing, boat launch, hike-bike-birding trails and water sport rentals are all within 5 miles.
