Bears Hideaway features 2 Bedrooms with king size beds, large closets and 50" TVs. The great room offers a cozy gas fireplace and a 65" TV. All TVs have streaming options (netflix/hulu/prime) as well as our complimentary streaming app that contains live TV, 1000s of movies and TV series. Included is 1 GB free wifi while being our guest. The loft over hanging the living room shows as a 3rd bedroom with a pool table, arcade style game table, 42" TV complete with Wii and 2 futons for extra sleeping space. Enjoy the hot tub on the front deck, the newly installed fire pit seating area right out front or grilling & eating out on the back deck. This secluded mountain cabin is perfect if you prefer to stay in and hang out or going out to all of the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg attractions just a short drive down the mountain. The private gated community offers a swimming pool, tennis/basketball courts, trails and dog walking area. Bears Hideaway is a mountain top cabin with beautiful seasonal views on heavily wooded lot. It has all the seclusion you want, without being far from others. *There is one ring floodlight camera mounted over the driveway of the cabin. Bears Hideaway is located in a gated 1300 acre community close to the Pigeon Forge city limits. Shagbark has a community swimming pool available Memorial Day weekend until the end of September. There is aTennis Court with Basketball Goal also Pickle Ball Courts close to the POOL and you will pass PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT, PICNIC PAVILION and WALKING TRAIL with doggy bag stand in the meadow off N. Clear Fork Road along the creek with 2 parking areas. Shagbark only has about 226 cabins scattered throughout the wooded hills and year-round creek that will make you think you are in the Smoky Mountain National Park. Wild turkeys, raccoons and bears wander throughout the forests. Please be careful and do NOT feed the animals.
