Boulderdash is a charming, hidden gem off the beaten path deep in the heart of the Texas Hill Country. Situated on 5 acres, the sites are spaciously nestled amongst the natural beauty of The Texas Hill Country. Our guests say they love being a part of the natural habitat, feeding the deer, birds, and watching wildlife. As well as, how peaceful, quiet, and relaxing their visit is. Although not a large park, there is plenty to do. Located on the crystal clear Medina River, (river levels vary so please check the tabs on our website for updated Lake/River levels), there is a natural spring just a 1/2 mile upriver offering our area, spring-fed water for guests and fur babies to splash and play in. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy hiking the river banks and exploring the large boulders. Boulderdash has a camping option for everyone, we host 3 FHU RV sites, 3 shaded tent sites, and 3 lodging options, each unique and as individual as our campers are. Enjoy stellar hill Country views and starry night skies, Please note, we are on a gravel road 0.3 miles of it! If you are on a motorcycle, please be aware, the driveway is STEEP and NARROW, if you are uncomfortable driving your bike on gravel or winding rough roads this may not be a good fit for you.

My name is Carol-anne, my husband is Lyn, & we love to share our property! Meeting our guests is one of our favorite things! We are both pretty social, as well as hands on, so you will probably see us during your stay!

Please don't get discouraged on your drive in, our neighborhood leaves a little to be desired, but dont fret, its not a reflection of Boulderdash! We are far away enough to feel like the country, yet close enough to Bandera to go enjoy all that The Cowboy Capital of the world offers! We are also 45 minutes away from great towns like Helotes, Kerrville, Bourne, and San Antonio! We are just a short scenic drive from Lost Maples State Park as well as the Hill country Natural area with great hiking trails.
