Campfire Ranch Lost Trail is a private lodge tucked into Coldstream Canyon outside Truckee — a quiet, secluded basecamp for Tahoe trips when you’d rather skip the lake crowds and come home to privacy, no neighbors, and a real meal on the table. This isn’t a lakefront rental, and we don’t try to be. Lost Trail is for groups that want the “tucked-away Tahoe” experience: woods, trails, fireplace nights, warm rooms, hot showers, and the feeling that you actually disappeared for a minute. All-inclusive meals (included in the nightly rate): Travel light: we’ll do the cooking. Share dietary restrictions/preferences in your booking notes so we can plan ahead. AWD/4WD required. It’s roughly a 4-mile drive on county roads to reach the property, and we’ll confirm your vehicle + how to get here in your pre-arrival messages. Winter note (important): In winter, this becomes a remote backcountry lodge with a mandatory ~4-mile over-snow approach

Your host/chef is on-site the entire stay (in separate sleeping quarters — not in your lodge space). You’ll have full privacy, with real support when you need it.
