Game room doubles as bedroom with closet and beds so kids can enjoy their favorite gaming system and TV shows on the large flat screen, and adults can have fun downstairs in the great kitchen/living/deck area. The Game room is also stocked with multiple board games and card games with fun for all. There is a card table and folding chairs in the closet. Robert and Teresa are blessed to own this beautiful home in Crystal Beach and we want to share it with others. We are both originally from Beaumont, TX and we now live in the Clear Lake area. We met while going to college at the University of Texas at Austin. Robert works for NASA at the Johnson Space Center and after working in retail for many years and then staying home for over 11 years with the kids, Teresa is now a personal assistant. Robert and Teresa grew up in Beaumont, TX just one hour from Crystal Beach. This was the beach we played on as children and young adults. We have many memories here. Before purchasing Cape Escape, we loved going to the beach in Galveston and in Florida. We made countless day trips and rented homes during Spring Break many times. A few years after Hurricane Ike, we started renting homes on Bolivar and really came to love coming back to this neat community. We also really like being able to drive on the beach and build a fire and set off fireworks - something you can't do in Galveston. We rent our home not only to help pay for it, but also to share this amazing blessing with others. God is Good!

Our home is located on the Bolivar Peninsula in the Sea Breeze subdivision. It is on east end of Crystal beach about 15 min east of the Galveston Ferry landing and about 12 min west of High Island. The best thing about the Cape Escape location is this part of the beach is much less crowded. The closest access to the beach by car is 1 mile away. This provides a much better environment for families. The home in only a short walk to the beach and you can hear the waves crashing from the deck. On Crystal Beach, you can drive vehicles and build fires and really have a fun and safe time. We love making S'mores and hanging out by the campfire along with all the awesome beach games and water sports. Fortunately, the home is just a short walk from the beach, so you can easily go by foot, or hop in the golf cart. The golf cart is only allowed on the beach and in the subdivision streets. You can only take the golf cart on Hwy 87 to cross the road to get gas. We do have a gas can, so you don't have to drive the cart to the gas station.
