Escape from the city! The Carriage House is a cozy guest house located in the Pineywoods of East Texas. This is the downstairs sister to our Pink Door Guest Haus. Along with great views, we have a country feel, only 6 miles from town. We are located near Lufkin, Nacogdoches and Lake Sam Rayburn. Enjoy the stocked pond, grill, firepit, and gazebo. Hangout with our ducks Dilly and Dally! Relax and enjoy all this area has to offer.

We are located between Lufkin and Lake Sam Rayburn. The lake is only about 5 minutes away. Toledo Bend Reservoir is 1 hour away. The fabulous restaurants, shopping, and museums in Lufkin are about 10 minutes away. Nacogdoches "The Oldest Town in Texas" is approximately 20 minutes away. Home to historical sites, restaurants, shopping and Stephen F. Austin State University. We will provide a list of must see's in the area! Please be advised that the highway we live on is one of the main routes to our local lakes and Louisiana. Although some road noise is to be expected, you will also be treated to the sounds of birds, frogs and crickets.
