To ensure your safety and protect the property, please follow these rules: No Swimming or Wading: Swimming, wading, or entering the pond or stream is strictly prohibited due to potential hazards such as strong currents, uneven surfaces, and wildlife. Guests who violate this rule assume all associated risks. Supervise Children: Children under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times when near the pond or stream. Do not allow children to play unattended near water features. No Fishing Without Permission: Fishing in the pond or stream is not permitted without prior written approval from the host. If approved, guests must follow local fishing regulations and obtain any required permits. Amboy is a small unincorporated town of about 1200 people, there is a great hardware store, grocery store, Nick's restaurant, church and school here. This is an amazing home base, 45 min from Portland, 20 min from major shopping, 30 min from Mt St Helens, 10-15 min from amazing fishing, and only 2 hours from the coast. The community is laid back and we watch out for each other. The pastor of the church has lived her for about 30 years and is a "new comer" so this community is very family oriented.
