Company info

Our approach centers on thoughtful stewardship. We are committed to preserving the architectural character of this 1902 Queen Anne home while offering clean, modern comfort and clear communication before and during your visit. Because we live on site, the home is actively cared for each day and prepared with intention rather than run from a distance. Breakfast is central to the experience here. Menus are provided upon arrival and updated daily, and each morning’s meal is prepared to order. We cook with seasonal ingredients, herbs from our garden, eggs gathered from our hens, and other locally sourced products when available. Careful dietary preparation is integral to our kitchen. The home operates two separate kitchen spaces, including one dedicated to gluten-free and specialty dietary preparation. We are happy to discuss specific dietary needs in advance of your stay. We share our home with Zane, our friendly and well-trained therapy dog. He does not enter guest rooms, and we are happy to discuss any allergy concerns prior to booking.

Property info

Tucked along tree-lined Chestnut Street, our 1902 Queen Anne Victorian sits in one of Cooperstown’s most picturesque residential neighborhoods. It is a peaceful setting just a 10-minute walk to Main Street’s restaurants and shops and about 15 minutes on foot to the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and Otsego Lake. Guests appreciate free private on-site parking and the ability to explore the village on foot, or use the seasonal Cooperstown trolley, which stops directly in front of the house. Each guest room includes a private bathroom, new mattresses, allergen-conscious bedding, spa-sized towels, personal toiletries, and strong WiFi. Two rooms include second bedrooms for additional space. Breakfast is made to order each morning using fresh, seasonal ingredients, with eggs from our hens whenever possible.

Neighborhood info

Cooperstown blends historic architecture, lakeside beauty, and cultural depth in a village small enough to explore on foot. Tree-lined streets are filled with preserved Victorian, Federal, and Colonial homes, creating a setting that feels both historic and relaxed. Main Street offers independent shops, restaurants, and galleries and remains one of the most intact classic downtown streets in the Northeast. The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum anchors the village, while Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum provide art and regional history. Otsego Lake offers boating and shoreline views, and Hyde Hall overlooks the water with sweeping historic grounds. Each summer, Glimmerglass Festival brings world-class opera to the lake, and Brewery Ommegang hosts concerts and tastings just outside town. Everything feels close, walkable, and grounded in place.
