The cabin offers 3 bedrooms, a large wraparound deck, wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood, a fully equipped kitchen and fast reliable Starlink internet included at no extra cost. Lake Isabella's sandy beaches and watersports are just 15 minutes away, Kernville with its saloons, restaurants and shops is 20 minutes away, the Kern River offering rafting, fishing and natural hot springs is nearby, and Alta Sierra Ski Resort is just 8 minutes away. Hiking and biking trails wind directly through the surrounding forest. Wake up to forest views and fresh mountain air. Start your morning with coffee on the large deck surrounded by whispering pines. Three complimentary kayaks are available to explore Lake Isabella. Fire up the BBQ for cookouts on the deck and in the evenings unwind beside the crackling wood-burning stove with complimentary firewood provided. Deer and other wildlife are frequently seen around the property, offering a truly unique mountain experience. Parking is located 50 yards from the cabin. During winter months tire chains may occasionally be required depending on snow conditions. Open flames are not permitted outdoors in line with local fire safety regulations.

At the base of the mountain is Lake Isabella, with open sandy beaches and many types of boating and water sports (three kayaks are provided). The Kern River is known for river rafting and fishing. Kernville offers antique shops, clothing boutiques, museums, eateries and bars. The Shirley Meadows ski resort is located just above the cabin and is open in winter. Hiking and bike trails lead from the house directly into the mountain regions. The region is also an excellent base for exploring the southern Sierra Nevada, combining mountains, forests, rivers and Lake Isabella within a relatively small area.
