Desert Drifter RV Resort is a boutique RV park—your relaxed basecamp for Joshua Tree adventures. We have two on-site, fully set-up trailers available for nightly rentals, and the rest of the park is occupied by guests who travel with their own RVs/trailers. That means you’ll be staying in a real RV resort environment with a friendly, low-key community vibe—not a stand-alone hotel. Expect clean, design-forward spaces, desert landscaping, wide open skies for stargazing, and thoughtful touches that make arrivals easy. Hi, I’m Shawn—a long-time High Desert local and dad who loves hiking Black Rock Canyon by day and counting constellations with my daughter at night. We’re in Yucca Valley on Hwy 62—perfectly placed for exploring Joshua Tree National Park’s West Entrance, Old Town’s vintage shops and cafés, and the region’s art and music scene. Don’t miss Pioneertown and Pappy & Harriet’s for legendary live shows, the open-air installations at the Noah Purifoy Desert Art Museum, or a sound bath at the Integratron (book ahead). Black Rock Canyon offers great hiking and spring wildflowers, while clear desert nights invite effortless stargazing back at the resort.
