This unique home, circa 1900, was constructed of stone and wood beams from an 1800s barn located on the property. Downingtown Manor is situated on 2.6 acres of lush greenery in the heart of Downingtown, overlooking the East Branch of the Brandywine Creek and its Beaver Creek tributary. Need a bit more space? Also on the property, you'll find Boathouse on the Brandywine (111 Manor Ave), which sleeps 4. Walking through the vintage foyer, you are transformed into a different time. The spacious living room leads to a large sunroom with gorgeous views of Brandywine Creek. The first floor features the main bedroom with an en-suite as well as a TV. You will also find two additional bedrooms upstairs. Downingtown Manor can comfortably sleep 10 people. The perfect location for wedding guests, holiday guests, reunions, and family get-togethers, the property is conveniently located close to several Chester County attractions as well as both Philadelphia and Lancaster. You are sure to find plenty to do during your stay. The Manor House has two separate living areas. The upper 2 floors are the short term rental fully described as this Short Term Rental. The second is a long term rental unit on the first floor that has a tenant on the property and parks a vehicle in the driveway. The units have no access to one another and no shared space with the exception of the driveway.
Hi, we are Mark and Michele Myers and we have been together in Downingtown over 25 years. We raised two beautiful daughters here, have 5 fantastic grandchildren and Mark is part of 5 generations of this town. When these iconic homes became available we simply couldn't resist and hope you love them as much as we do!
