Gorgeously situated on the shores of Echo Lake, this waterfront home in Bigfork is a place for swimming off the dock, kayaking with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains, and fishing for prolific perch, northern pike, rainbow trout, and smallmouth and largemouth bass. This two-level home sits on a beautiful property on the southwestern side of Echo Lake, on a small peninsula that enjoys incredible views of the water and mountains. It's a scene best witnessed from an innertube floating off the dock or a seat on the grassy lawn, the spacious back deck, or the upper-level balcony. The interior was designed for families looking to spend time together, with a casual first floor that brings together the living room, the kitchen, and two dining spaces. The kitchen has every essential appliance and a prep island with bar seats for three, plus two adjacent dining tables that seat eight and six, respectively. Gather for a movie in the living area after dinner or head upstairs to watch TV in the comfortable den that is part of the first bedroom. There are two bedrooms in the main part of the house and a third bedroom across a breezeway in a cozy, cabin-like space with a TV, bathroom, space heaters, and air-conditioning unit. THINGS TO KNOW The adjoining cabin is unavailable during colder months as it does not have plumbing or heat.
