Property info

Built in 1902, this lovingly maintained home is decorated with vintage pieces, and offers a unique formal breakfast experience to especially delight fellow foodies. Along with an affinity for the past, we offer a strong WiFi signal, desks for business travelers, and comfy beds and seating areas. Use our library to read or play games. The lovely surrounding garden area is a work in progress and the wraparound porch is a welcome retreat after a long day of exploring. Get refreshed and simply enjoy life in the Maine Highlands.

Fellow foodies rave about the Quarry in Monson (20 min away) where chef-owner Marilou “Lulu” Ranta was just awarded the James Beard award. Book a table in advance for a true, Culinary Experience. For something within walking distance, there's pub grub at the patriotic Red Maple. This is an old mill town and one local mill still exists and still blows a whistle each weekday to call the locals to their workplace. You can feel the history here, for sure. Forty-five minutes away, book a Katahdin cruise for a relaxing site-seeing excursion. Walking and hiking paths abound and not just in Peaks-Kenny State Park.
