Owner Jonathan Pedroza created Gulf Siesta in 2021 when he purchased the Gulf Siesta compound. Jonathan knew he would be relocating to Galveston in 2022 in order to follow his daughter who had to move to the island with her mother. He applied his short-term rental model developed in Harrisburg, PA to the development of Gulf Siesta in Galveston and currently offers 5 vacation rentals in the compound. New rentals are being added annually as Gulf Siesta transforms itself into a premier, pet-friendly affordable vacation rental company with a prime location. Located only two blocks to the Seawall, beach, restaurants, bars and nightlife Gulf Siesta is central to everything on the island. Book with Gulf Siesta and you are investing in the growth of a small, one-person minority, veteran owned business. Jonathan continues to live on site at Gulf Siesta and frequently interacts with guests.
