The Hacienda del Sol, once owned by the Taos Legend Mabel Dodge Lujan, is made up of two beautiful courtyards with views of sacred Taos Mountain and surrounded by 3 beautiful adobe buildings, the original building dating back to 1804. We have 12 southwest style rooms most of them equipped with traditional Kiva fireplaces and viga ceilings. If you are looking for an authentic Taos experience, you can't go wrong with our little piece of paradise. Thoughtfully updated. Complimentary gourmet breakfast.

Neighborhood info

We share our drive way with the very popular and Taos favorite Love Apple Restaurant. Our property backs up to 95,000 acres of Pueblo reservation Land. The Taos Pueblo is located two miles behind us and is our UNESCO World Heritage site. We are just one mile from the downtown Taos Plaza.
