I love animals, cooking, good design, travel, music. I was in the restaurant business years ago, and now I own & run two natural pet stores (Portland ME and Boston MA). Most of my apartments welcome pets. I believe people who care for animals make for good human beings (and guests!). As a host, it gives me so much pleasure to share Portland and these apartments, which I've owned for many years, with this community of thoughtful & interesting people from all over the world. As a guest, I love seeing how other people live and I'll treat your home with the same respect I'd want in my own.

Our beautiful 2nd floor apartment is nicknamed ‘The Haven’ because it’s a perfect retreat. After a day of exploring, return to this quiet, cozy authentically ‘Portland’ apartment just a short walk from all of the city’s most desirable destinations. The apartment has the charm of an old Maine cabin with all the modern conveniences. You’ll find sliding barn doors and bead board and a clawfoot tub and butcher block counter, along with a smart TV and Bluetooth speakers. The primary bedroom is a gracious size with lots of windows. The second bedroom is my favorite because of the modern brass bed and its cozy size. Both bedrooms are dressed with crisp white sheets, lots of fluffy pillows, a quilt & duvet. The apartment has one bedroom and sleeps 4. Plenty of fluffy cotton towels and all the basic toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, lotion, razors, tampons, first aid kit) stock the bathroom. In the kitchen, you’ll find fresh local coffee, tea, cream, sugar, olive oil, vinegar, sea salt and pepper grinder, and many basic spices.

The East End, also known as Munjoy Hill, is Portland's most popular neighborhood. It's adjacent to the Old Port, downtown and East Bayside...it's easy to walk anywhere from here, yet you return home from your adventures to a quiet leafy neighborhood where you can relax and sleep soundly. You'll hear sea gulls cawing and fog horns when they blow, watch boats moving in and out of the harbor, feel and smell the salty sea air...it's very much like a island community but with all the benefits of being a quick walk or Uber to all the best restaurants, shops, galleries, breweries. Plus, our neighborhood is home to our most beautiful green space (Eastern Promenade), public beach (East End Beach), boat launch and walking/running/biking trails (Portland Trails' Waterfront Trail). You can dine at three different popular restaurants right in the neighborhood (Lolita, Blue Spoon and The Front Room). We also have the best croissants west of Paris (Belleville) and an amazing local green grocer (Rosemont Market), plus a convenience store with all you'll need for provisions (Hilltop Superette).
