Family/pet friendly, first residential home built on Big Mountain! Winter - A skier's dream--walk 150 yards to Lift 3 and ski home to your door of the chalet's 1400 sq ft, high-ceiling upper condo with a real wood-burning stone fireplace. Summer - A hiker/mountain biker's dream! Big Mountain is at your doorstep, and Glacier National Park a mere 33 miles away by car. If you have a large group, please check out our other condo “Historic Big Mountain Chalet Lower” which also sleeps 6. I live in Hawaii but Danie, our house cleaner can help you if you need something. Her number is listed in the unit. Winter Lane is a residential street littered with condos and vacation rentals. Itʻs a five minute walk to the Village, which has a boardwalk with shops, rental houses, and a 24-7 convenience store. Thereʻs a free Snow Bus stop in winter to take you to the Daylodge or into Whitefish. If you are skiing, simply walk to chair 3 or chair 1. Itʻs a 15 min drive into Whitefish or 40 min to Glacier National Park.
