Ethyl the cat may very well be lounging on the sidewalk in the sun and Fred the cat can usually be found warming herself under a lamp. Spike the cat is very shy so you probably won't see much of him.

There is something for everyone beginning with a lovely two hour ride along the magnificent Hudson River on AMTRAK or a leisurely drive up the Taconic Parkway. As with many industrial cities in the Northeast, Hudson fell on hard times in the mid 1900s and has enjoyed a remarkable resurgence in recent times. The variety of architectural styles is remarkable with a virtually intact mile long main street filled with interesting shops and great restaurants.
