The Independence Square is a historic hotel located in the heart of downtown Aspen, on the Cooper Avenue walking mall and only one block to Aspen Mountain's Silver Queen Gondola. This second-floor deluxe hotel room was recently renovated and is overlooking Paradise Bakery and the Cooper Ave. walking mall. It features a flat-screen TV, comfortable armchair, and large windows overlooking downtown Aspen. Guests also receive complimentary continental breakfast items. This hotel room features a King bed.  Amenities at the Independence Square Hotel include housekeeping services, a rooftop sun deck and hot tub, on-site check-in and front desk services, on-site laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi, an elevator, and ski lockers. There is an elevator that accesses all hotel rooms and condominiums from the lobby; however, guests must walk down a flight of stairs before reaching the elevator. The Independence Square hotel is only a few steps away from the Rubey Park bus station, which provides free bus service to all the area ski mountains, including Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk, and Snowmass.
