Inn on the Sound is a jewel set in destination Falmouth – one of the most popular beach communities on Cape Cod. High on a bluff, our inn offers stunning ocean views. From our decks, guests may capture the sunrise and the sunset; moon rise and moon set; the calm waters on the sound between the upper Cape and the island of Martha’s Vineyard. Our twelve guest rooms are airy, comfortable, and relaxed- contemporary, each with a private bath. We renovated the original 1872 building using quality materials, fixtures, and furnishings. Guest room options include: ocean front, ocean view, and garden view. Several guest rooms feature a private balcony. One offers a kitchenette. We receive rave reviews for the clean, calm comfort of all our rooms. Delicious homemade breakfasts: we serve a hot special breakfast dish daily in the dining room and on the deck. In addition, we offer a bountiful breakfast buffet – with baked goods, yogurt, cereal, and fruit platters. Our always-available guest pantry includes a refrigerator, microwave, goodies, teas and coffee – another guest favorite. We welcome guests year round.
