Warm weather offers fishing, boating, hiking, local farm stands, and exploration of the nearby Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Autumn leaf peeping in this heavily forested area can’t be beat, and in the winter, bring your cold-weather gear, because ice fishing, snowmobiling, and ice skating abound. Kennebunkport is less than 15 miles away and you'll find downtown Sanford only five minutes west, with great restaurants and shops to check out. Plan a trip to spend an afternoon at Wells Beach, just 14 miles away. When you return, let the kids splash around on the small, sandy beach area while you fire up the gas grill. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a damage waiver fee which covers you for up to 3,000 dollars of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out.
