Kathleen has been operating the lodge since 2000. An avid reader, gardener and traveler, she loves nothing more than a good conversation while sipping a glass of wine in the garden with her guests.

Property info

Conveniently located between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks, the lodge offers an oasis of peace and tranquility after a long day of exploring the magical surroundings of NW Montana. Our clean and cozy rooms will cocoon you in comfort. Lounge in the brilliant garden, walk to the lake for a swim, or hike out the back door to Hall Peak and the Alpine Trail. Each room comes complete with en suite full bath and private entrance. The lodge is located 20 minutes from the village of Bigfork, 40 minutes from Kalispell and 70 minutes to the west gate of Glacier National Park.

Neighborhood info

Flathead Valley during the summer is a frenzy of activity...over two million visitors arrive for live theater, concerts, festivals, rodeos, and of course, Glacier National Park. After a day of travel, exploration (and finding parking in the park!), arriving at the Lodge is like a massive exhalation of tension. From the moment you arrive in the tiny village of Swan Lake, you will breathe easier. Whether you are staying a day or a week, the lodge is a perfect base for your travels around NW Montana.
