Guests looking for quick access to all the High Country offers will enjoy this convenient location just a short distance from the main highway. Sugar Mountain Ski Resort is just 3 miles away and offers winter favorites such as skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing. The resort transitions to mountain bike trails, chair lift rides, festivals, concerts, and more in the summer. Other favorite attractions within 15 minutes include Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, Sugar Creek Gem Mining, Banner Elk Winery, and Sugar Mountain Public Golf Course. The town of Banner Elk is 10 minutes away, with shopping and favorite local restaurants. Downtown Boone is just 20 minutes away. Guests will enjoy being only a few minutes away from conveniences such as restaurants and grocery stores.
