Gather in the shared courtyard for drinks under the string lights at this chic, Scandinavian-style pad on the 2nd floor of a Victorian home. This is a large open loft space with smaller lofts from the main loft space with 3 queen beds & 1 sofa bed. The space has cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors & a brick fireplace, a cool den and other separate loft spaces with sloped ceilings. We kept the furnishings chic, Scandinavian, clean and modern.There is a television, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot for your convenience. Let us know if you need more accommodations as we have more space available. You will have full access to the courtyard with a dining table & six chairs. Enjoy the twinkle of adorable string lights and the gas lanterns at night!
Hi there! While my Mom & I adore our daily walks; opening our space to guests near & far comes a very close second. The rich history of New Orleans abound where we live. Built in 1860, our home was one of the homes of Rosette Rochon, a free woman of color who was instrumental in the development of a predominantly Creole New Orleans neighborhood of Fauborg Marigny. Fauborg Marigny is known for it's Cajun bistros, bohemian bars and jazz clubs especially the ones lining up Frenchmen Street. It's also the next neighborhood to the east of the French quarter; 3 blocks from Esplanade, 10 blocks from Jackson square, the bustling part of Bourbon St. & a stone's throw away from the Bywater.
