Hello, I am in my 29th year of business here at Misty Creek Log Cabins. I have 2 cabins that were built in 1997. My residence is here on the property. I have had wonderful guests over the years with quite a few repeats. One couple will return for the 28th time in October. Another couple visits for 4-6 days for their anniversary every September. This year will be their 21st time. Both cabin porches hang over a small creek which guests enjoy. It is soooo relaxing to listen to the babbling brook. There are window unit air conditioners in each cabin. Most of the time you do not need air conditioning because of the heavy canopy. There are a lot of trees on the property. There are ceiling fans and a pedestal fan in each cabin.
I enjoy showing guests to their cabin when they arrive to show them things they may not notice and to answer any questions they might have.
The cabins are in a neighborhood and when I have asked guests about the location they usually think the cabins are secluded. There are restaurant menus in each cabin that I briefly go over when I show guests to the cabin. The Wheels Through Time Museum which is very popular is at the foot of my street about 1/2 mile. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 6 mile from here.
