Mrs. Hippie Inn was built as a home in 1883 and the family opened a general store two years later which operated until 1970. I has two suites on the second floor. The storefront is being renovated to house Mrs. Hippie Antiques run by the owner of the building, Christi, a 3rd generation antiques dealer. Our guests always get a 10% discount!

We have long been interested in owning a storefront where we can live! Our two suites upstairs are a wonderful bonus and we are excited to venture into the STR world!

Alma is a beautiful historic town right on the Great River Road on the Mississippi River at Lock and Dam #4. We have the best view of the lock and the kettling eagles all winter long over the open water! Alma has something for everyone — fishing, bird watching, wine tasting, specialty shops, museums and more! We are in a premier location in Alma, close to shops, fishing, and restaurants. Danzinger Vineyard and Buena Vista Park are a couple miles away.
