Welcome to Soldotna, Alaska! We’re Bobbie and Harold Jackson, lifelong Alaskans with a deep connection to the land. Bobbie was born in Anchorage, Alaska, and in 1959, her family moved to the Soldotna Family Homestead, where our beloved “Peaceful Acres” Cabins & Jackson Gardens Alaska are now located. Harold, originally from Arizona, made his way to Alaska in 1961, and together, we've built a life steeped in the beauty and bounty of the Kenai Peninsula. In 2024, we decided to open our on-site cabins and triplex for short-term rentals, welcoming guests to experience the tranquility and natural beauty we’ve cherished for decades. ***We accept same day bookings. *** Enjoy the best of Alaskan fishing at our largest 1120 sq ft cabin, just 7 miles south of Soldotna near the famous Kenai and Kasilof Rivers. Ninilchik, known for halibut fishing, is 35 miles away, and Homer is 70 miles from your door. We provide fish cleaning stations, vacuum sealing, and ample freezer space for your catches. Cabin 4 "Get-N-Away" was just completely remodeled in May 2025. Our cabins include free Wi-Fi, smart TV, room darkening shades, refrigerator, stove, washer/dryer, porch, outdoor pellet grill, and many other amenities. Check out all of our amenities. BEDS: 1 Queen bed and 2 Twins beds in a Master Bedroom 1, 2 Twin beds in Bedroom 2, 1 Futon bed downstairs in the living room KITCHEN: Stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, drip coffee maker, rice cooker, slow cooker, baking dishes, silverware, knife set, bowls, dishes, glasses, wine glasses, and 50 other cooking items as well as a pellet grill. BATHROOMS: Full bathroom on main floor, and a 1/2 bath (sink and commode) upstairs in the sleeping area. GENERAL: Complimentary toiletries, linens, towels, trash bags & paper towels While fish cleaning and vacuum sealing are not allowed inside the unit, we offer a dedicated fish cleaning area and facilities in our garage for vacuum sealing and freezing your catch.
