Escape to nature in this charming countryside home perfect for families and outdoor lovers! This peaceful retreat features private hiking trails winding through the 75 acre property and a serene pond right outside the back door for relaxing or fishing. You will also find a babbling creek with a covered bridge and a chapel just a short walk from the house. In an ideal central location just a short drive from the Lake of Egypt, local wineries, the Shawnee National Forest and several state parks, it is the perfect base for your next family adventure in beautiful Southern Illinois!
Hi! We're Johnny and Hannah. Both Southern Illinois natives, Hannah grew up hiking and camping right here in the Shawnee National Forest while Johnny was raised in the woods on the outskirts of a small town about an hour north of here. We love the area and are excited to welcome guests to share the beauty of Southern Illinois!
