When visiting Folly Beach, Regatta Inn is a great choice! Located about 9 miles from downtown historic Charleston, this upscale B&B is a 10--minute walk from the ocean. Regatta Inn is for adults only and is not family or pet friendly. Daily hot breakfast, happy hour and our golf cart shuttle to and from the beach are complementary amenities provided by our staff. Rooms at this romantic bed & breakfast offer upscale touches like fireplaces and jetted tubs, along with flat screen TVs and refrigerators. All of our rooms have a private porch area. The Inn is located 1 mile from the bar and restaurant scene of Folly Beach. This private location offers a roof top terrace common space on the 2nd floor. Guests can mingle and enjoy views of the Folly River and sunsets. As a barrier island, Folly Beach is only about 7 miles to drive from one end to the other end. Stay on the island and explore the Morris Island Lighthouse, Folly Beach Fishing Pier, and the Folly Beach County Park.

Folly Beach is a funky, laid back beach town just outside of historic Charleston. The island is mostly residential with a small yet charming downtown area and a small amount of local entertainment purveyors. Though Folly Beach is free of flashy attractions, visitors can enjoy a wide array of water entertainment, including surf lessons, paddle board marsh tours, kayak rentals, and more.
