I moved here right after 9-11 from NYC. I searched for a waterfront location that would give me a spectacular view of nature. I decided to embark on this venture (2014) after staying in Europe in this the of accommodation and really appreciating the owners, the guests and the special attributes of each property. It is more intimate and personal than hotels, and offers the perspective of the owner in discovering the local area. I enjoy sharing this with all that appreciate unique and spectacular settings.

This property is special.. It's proximity to the Salmon Falls river (which is tidal) is so close that you feel nature and its beauty everywhere. This property is a unique architect designed home that offers a private and secluded stay. It is an oasis of nature. The house blends the vernacular of historic and modern.

Neighborhood info

The area around this property is primarily land trust. There is a wonderful state park and historic home called the Hamilton House. South Berwick is home to Sarah Orne Jewett and the oldest private school in Maine, Berwick Academy. Lots of great restaurants in the vicinity.
