The home is a 7-minute walk from the famous Flagler Avenue. You'll find cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques, beach rentals, and more here. It's also a 3-minute drive from the local grocery store. The Beauty of New Smyrna Beach New Smyrna is a barrier island positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. The beaches of New Smyrna stretch over 13 miles along the sandy east coast of Central Florida. Water activities abound. New Smyrna is the surfing capital of Florida-- try it yourself or watch the locals ride the big waves near the jetties. Play in the surf, gather seashells, or build a sandcastle with your kids or grandkids. From Ponce de Leon Inlet, you can embark on a great deep-sea fishing adventure. Should you prefer to stay closer to the shore, fish the Florida saltwater flats for the famous red fish of Mosquito Lagoon.
