About the Host – Anthony @ Bay Getaways Hi, I’m Anthony — a Coast Guard veteran, small business owner, and someone who believes that true hospitality comes from the heart. I started Bay Getaways with the goal of creating restful, welcoming spaces where guests can disconnect from the noise of life and reconnect with what matters most. Every home I host is designed with care, from the backyard fire pits to the quiet touches that help you unwind. I believe in offering more than just a place to sleep — I want to give people a place to breathe, reflect, and feel at peace. My faith plays a big role in that. As someone who leans daily on God’s grace, I try to serve others the same way — with kindness, honesty, and attention to the little things that matter. You might find a small piece of scripture in a welcome message, or feel the warmth of a home that was made with love — but either way, my goal is that you leave feeling better than when you arrived. My golden retriever, Okemo, is often close by — a loyal companion who helps me stay centered. We’d love to welcome you to one of our homes soon.
