At Serendipity, we have three rooms in the Victorian style main house bed and breakfast and the adjacent Lightkeeper's Cottage guest house. At the Bed and Breakfast, guests are ushered back in time to another era. The inn’s décor is reminiscent of an English guest house, accented with hardwood floors and mahogany woodwork. A welcoming staircase leads guests upward to flower-themed private rooms — Lily, Iris, and Rose. The Lily presents a queen-size bed, private bath, armoire, and side chair. The Iris and Rose rooms share a roomy bath, complete with Jacuzzi, just down the hall. All the rooms offer WIFI and cable TV for vacationers who want to stay connected. Inn guests wake up to the aroma of locally roasted coffee beans. Each morning, the dining room downstairs offers for a full breakfast in front of a fireplace. After the meal, they can relax, read, or enjoy the view from the glass-enclosed sunroom. The Lightkeepers Cottage is a self-contained, one-room hideaway ideal for a romantic retreat, featuring a sitting area with fireplace, a kitchenette, private bath, and queen-size loft bed. A deck with hot tub, surrounded by a privacy fence, round out the cottage’s amenities. A full breakfast is delivered in a basket to the cottage door each morning. Prior to opening Serendipity Bed & Breakfast and Suites we combined our skills and talents in operating a child care business beginning in 1984. David's skills in engineering, June's background in education and counseling along with a strong work ethic, have been our foundation. And we can cook too!
