Welcome to New Orleans and our Creole Cottage ,please let us guide you to create a local experience . I was born on the island of Mauritius moved to New Orleans in 1995 I have been a chef for over 30 years. Please inquire about my availability to create special menu/wine tasting/Cooking class using,seasonal local ingredients ,local seafood and meats. Chef Dominique Macquet Born on the island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean and classically French trained Macquet grew up with Creole,Asian, African and Indian home-cooked dishes. Cookbook available Dominique's Tropical latitude.

The creole cottage was originally built in the 1900 I bought it in 2004 and it was fully renovated I added 2 apartments and a New Orleans style courtyard in November 2016

We are located in the heart of the Upper Garden district in Uptown New Orleans .We have lived on property since 2004. The neighborhood is extremely safe and central, waking distance to local markets grocery stores , galleries ,award winning restaurants ,wine bars ,local breweries ,music venues such as Tipitinas and Le Bon Temps Roule . We are 10 minutes walk to the street car on St Charles Avenue. !2 minutes Uber ride to the French Quarter. We will be happy to help you feel like a local away from home.
