The Studio apartment on top of Catamount Gap is in a large home 2 miles from Western Carolina University. Great for WCU visits (we both taught there) Ideal for traveling motorcyclists (we're bikers too) or anyone who enjoys day trips roaming around western NC. Handicapped accessible.
A bit about us..... Renie and I are both retired educators from Western Carolina University. I was in the Department of Technology and Engineering and Renie worked in the World Languages Department teaching Spanish. Although we are retired from teaching at WCU, Renie continues to teach Spanish and English as a foreign language on a part time basis at Southwestern Community College. We enjoy hiking, exercise classes, collecting and restoring old cars, honey bee keeping, motorcycling and Renie collects antique dolls, and loves her horses and rides a lot
We are in the heart of western North Carolinas tourist area. We are 2 miles from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee North Carolina. Other items of interest: The Blue Ridge Parkway, Harrah's casino, wonderful motorcyclist rides, hiking, waterfalls, breweries, The university environment, trout fishing, Kayaking etc.
