Want to experience Frankenmuth in the best way? How better than 2 bedrooms in a true bed and breakfast in the heart of town. "Dawdy Haus" is Pennsylvania Dutch (Amish) for "Grandpa's House". When the kids have grown and the house becomes too big, it becomes time to turn it over to a child that has their own growing family. The Amish often build a new house for the grandparents - with a guest room or two. This is known as the "dawdy haus". This is our dawdy haus! Let us share it with you!

We wanted to be within walking distance of the heartbeat of Frankenmuth. Our home is nestled in a quiet neighborhood with large trees and frequent dogwalkers. Two blocks from Main Street, it's the perfect location for us - and probably for you if you prefer to walk instead of trying to find a parking place downtown!
