Our guests often comment about how the apartment is a secluded retreat, away from the tourist areas, and that it is the best place they have stayed during their entire trip. We are about 1/4 mile off Highway 12 and about 1 mile from Tropic, and Just 2 miles up the road you enter Bryce Canyon National Park for a beautiful drive (about 10 miles total) up the canyon to the visitors center.
We moved to this area in 2019 and purchased this house and apartment in 2019. We love the beauty of Bryce Canyon and the surrounding attractions.
Bryce Canyon National Park is what brings people here, however there are many other attractions near by. One could spend a week and still not have time to do and see everything: hoodoos, waterfalls, slot canyons, etc. One of our favorite hikes is Lower Calf-Creek Falls, which is just past Escalante. We love to pack a lunch and hike the approximately 3 miles to the 126 foot waterfall and then enjoy lunch by the falls under the shade of the trees before hiking back.
