Please note that Fire Island Pines is predominantly LGBTQ community. There are no vehicles permitted on Fire Island- all transportation is by ferry, with parking provided at the ferry terminal in Sayville. Ferry information is available at the Sayville Ferry website.

The Madison Fire Island Pines is the most acclaimed guest house in this internationally-famous gay community. Travel & Leisure recommends us as the only place to stay in this famed gay community ("bedrooms here are light-filled and, of course, extremely clean and modern"). Everyone who stays with us is treated as a special guest. The property is modern and beautiful (we just completed a full renovation), with a 20-foot ceiling in the main room with sunlight streaming though walls of glass. There’s a grand deck, a huge pool, and a roof deck with panoramic views of the Pines. All rooms come with A/C and private baths. And the location is unbelievable: It’s sixty seconds from the beach and sixty seconds from the harbor. Stay for a week or a weekend - you'll find The Madison is as beautiful as the Pines itself.
