Ground activities include: swimming the beautiful river, building a sand castle on our snow white sand bars, discovering nature trails through woodland and meadow habitats, fishing the pond or river, playing crochet or horseshoes, walking along the river bank while tracking wildlife, seeing an array of water fowl, enjoying the calming sights and sounds of nature, snoozing or relaxing in a hammock, reading or writing a book, as it's all been done here at Little River Bluffs. Also nearby are Folsom's Thoroughbred horse farms and riding stables, The Global Wildlife Center, St Joseph Abbey, downtown Covington art galleries and antique shops, Micro-breweries, Pontchatrain Vineyards and St. Tammany Bike Trace to name a few and Downtown New Orleans is only an hours drive from our gate.

Our country estate neighborhood sets back off of Hwy 1077 approx. one mile and is surrounded by horse farms and great country folk neighbors. Little River Bluffs' thirty beautiful acres adjoins the Little Tchefuncte River as we are at the end of Garden Lane making it very quite and secluded. We are five miles from Folsom and twelve miles from downtown Covington where numerous restaurants, art galleries, antique shops await you.
