The Retreat at Hempstead is nestled on five acres in quiet Hempstead, Texas. The property includes a beautiful renovated 4900 sq. ft. country home - THE RETREAT HOUSE and a 2160 sq. ft. event venue - THE BARN @ THE RETREAT (requires separate event fees). Whether you are looking for a girl's weekend getaway, family vacation, reunion, birthday/graduation celebration, weddings and anniversaries, or small group/corporate day or night retreat, we have the location just for you! The Retreat House has 6 bedrooms, 3.5 baths, and kids/teen sleeping and lounge room. Accommodates 24 people (28 with sofa beds and futons). Large game room has bar with seating for 4, living room area, dining table seats 14, breakfast room seats 6, and kitchen bar seating. The multi-purpose room with mounted flat screen television is ideal for meetings and presentations, etc. Enjoy the outdoors bug free on the 2000 sq. ft. screened in patio. Lounge by the fireplace, grill, dine al fresco or take in a sunrise/sunset. Nature trail, stocked catch and release pond, plenty of hammocks, 625 sq ft fire pit. Outdoor activities - Basketball, ping pong, volleyball, badminton, archery, horseshoes, corn-hole and more!
Surrounded by large acreage homesites with livestock, enjoy peace and quiet out in the country but close enough to stores, restaurants and entertainment.
