Matt and Kedri bought The South Mountain Inn in 2018 after more than twenty years of non-profit work in Chicago and Baltimore. They have four kids and wanted a different pace for this season of their lives. Kedri loves the birds that share the property and any chance to get her hands in the dirt. Matt loves to build and create. A house built in the late 1800s and seven acres provide him with an abundance of interesting projects

The South Mountain Inn offers a refuge for those seeking a peaceful retreat with beautiful mountain views on seven acres. The inn is located on historic South Mountain just outside of Reading, PA. South Mountain has been a place of healing and rejuvenation for more than one hundred years and was once home to eight mountain resorts in the 1800s and early 1900s. The South Mountain Inn is continuing that tradition by providing comfortable lodging with a focus on wellness. Our comfortable, spacious rooms offer calming views, cozy beds, private en-suite bathrooms, local complimentary, vegan, and cruelty free bath products, plush robes, cable, and WiFi. We offer queen or king rooms and suites for larger families and a full fresh breakfast each morning that can be adapted to your dietary needs, including vegan and gluten free options.
