We had an excellent stay. We were lucky enough to take part in rice planting and tofu making with the homestay family, and they provided a friendly and considerate guide who spoke English to take us trekking. The meals were out of this world, and...

This was an amazing place to stay so scenic up in the mountains. Yien is a great host and is so informative on the Hmong way of life so you can learn a lot. Also his sister is an amazing chef and cooked some of the best food I had in Vietnam.

Indigenous Homestay - Trek & Local Life
Welcome to our home! We are a local H’mong family living together as three generations in the mountains of Mu Cang Chai. For us, hosting is more than providing a place to stay — it is about sharing our culture, daily life, and the beautiful landscapes we call home. Our homestay is located high on a hillside near the famous La Pan Tan area, surrounded by rice terraces and mountain views. Rooms are simple, clean, and comfortable, each with a private bathroom and views of nature. While there is no WiFi, mobile signal (4G/5G) is reliable, giving you the chance to disconnect without feeling isolated. We specialize in guided trekking tours, motorbike adventures, cooking classes, and cultural experiences. Whether you want to discover hidden viewpoints, visit remote villages, learn about terrace farming, or simply enjoy the mountains with a local guide, we would be happy to share these experiences with you. After a day of exploring, join us for a home-cooked dinner, local stories, and a warm evening with our family. If you are looking for authentic experiences, beautiful landscapes, and adventures beyond the usual tourist routes, we look forward to welcoming you.
